Experience obtained:

 

1983 - 1 986

·         During the period of residence in Obstet. & Gynecol. Department, Assiut University and Under the direct supervision of Prof. Mahmoud F. Fathalla, Prof. Mamdouh Shaaban, and Prof. Hosam T Salem, I have gained wide experience on Obstet. & Gynecol. including:

-          Ante natal, Gynecol. and Infertility Clinics.

-          Routine labour ward work. 

-          Obstetrics problems on ante natal and post natal wards.

-          All operative and instrumental deliveries and management of resulting complication.

-          Caesarian section and Caesarian Hysterectomy.

-          Assessment of fetal wellbeing.

-          Ultrasonography in Obstet. & Gynecol. (routine and emergency work).

-          In Gynecology I performed a wide range of procedures including:

       . Diagnostic laparoscopy.

       . Abdominal hysterectomy.

       . Vaginal hysterectomy.

       . Vaginal repair.

-          The different diagnostic procedures in Gynecological Oncology.

-          My thesis during that period was in the detection of the predictive value of ultrasound in the second trimester of pregnancy under the supervision of Prof. Hossam T Salem.

1986 – 1991

·         With the job of assistant lecturer, I started the MD thesis about comparative clinical trial between the use of Norplant, Net-EN and IUD by lactating women, under direct supervision of Prof. Mamdouh Shaaban, and Prof. Hosam T Salem. Also I have gained more experiences in the following fields:

-          The management of difficult and complicated cases in the ante natal, labour and post natal ward.

-           Difficult and complicated cases of Caesarian sections, Caesarian hystrectomy and rupture uterus.

-          Dissection of retroperitoneal spaces with identification of the ureter and ligation of the internal iliac artery.

-          Difficult cases of abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, and other Gynecological operation.

-          First assistant in radical and debulking operations for Gynecological and Urological Oncology.

-          More experiences in pelvic sonography especially vaginal sonography in infertility.

-          Minor operative laparoscopic procedures (as tubal ligations, ovarian biopsy, and simple adhesiolysis).

-          Beside the clinical work I had shard in the training and teaching programs for the house officers, nurses, and medical students. 

 

 

 

1991 - 1996

·         Lecturer of Obstet. & Gynecolo., Minia University, I have gained more and more experiences in the field of Obstet. & Gynecol.

-          Different operative laparoscopic and hystroscopic procedures.

-          More experiences in most Gynecological operations.

-          Aspiration of growing follicles using vaginal sonography.

-          Teaching programs for assistant lecturers and postgraduate doctors.

-          I had performed 13 scientific papers published in different medical journals.

-          Supervision of some MD and MSc. Thesis.

1996 to 2001

·         Assistant Professor of Obstet. & Gynecol. In Minia University and visiting doctor in Saudi Arabia.

-          More experience in assisted reproductive technology.

-          Attending most of scientific meetings in Egypt and Saudi Arabia about reproductive technology.

-          I had published 9 scientific papers published in different Medical Journals.

-          Attending the FIGO 2000 in Washington DC.

-          Supervision of some MD and MSc. Thesis.

2001 to dale

·         As professor of Obst. & Gynecol. sharing in advancing the labour ward, high risk unit, infertility unit and family planning unit.
