What do we offer?

What do we expect?

In order to participate you should

· be highly motivated to learn and work in a bicultural environment,

· be ready for an intensive full time programme

· have a professional or academic background related to the energy sector,

· be fluent in English (TOEFL 550 point or equivalent),

· be willing to take up leadership positions in the future in the energy sector.

What are your perspectives?

· working for companies in the expanding business sector "Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency" in the MENA-Region.

Application Requirements

Admission Requirements

There is a set of minimum requirements that participants have to fulfil.
These minimum requirements are:

• Bachelor degree (minimum grade "good")
• A minimum of 2 years professional experience is advisable
• English proficiency
• Demonstrate a relation to the renewable energy sector - either through the previous studies or jobs

Your Application

The following documents must be submitted as digital and hardcopy version. Please provide the digital application as one pdf-file und organise the documents in the following order:

• Application form
• Curriculum vitae (in tabular form)
• Document proving the higher education entrance qualification (certified copy)
• Graduation certificate (certified copy)
• Academic record of university study
• Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL 550 points, IELTS band 6 or equivalent other test)
• A letter of motivation explaining why he/she would like to study in the program (1 page)
• Formulated project idea on what the/she would be interested to work on during the master thesis (2 pages)
• Two letters of reference/recommendation (one of the current employer if possible)

Scholarships

Interested persons may apply for one of the restricted number of scholarships at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Selected participants from Germany receive a scholarship during their stay in Arab countries. Selected participants from Arab countries receive a scholarship during the full length of the course.
